My extensive collections of images of the USA include Northern and Central California (especially the Monterey Bay Area and the Sierra Nevada region, with a focus on the Lake Tahoe basin), the Southwestern and Southern states, The Hawaiian Islands, Oregon, Washington and Nevada — All collections slated to be added over time to this website.
With every image I shoot, I endeavor to reveal a unique sense of place at countless enchanting international locales including Spain, France, England, Scotland, Italy, Central America and Mexico. I constantly seek to tell photographic stories with compelling views, unusual angles, rich colors and intricate details of every subject — whether it’s the people, places, fauna, flora, architecture or objects that abound in every corner of the world.
I’ve been shooting photos since I was 12 years-old, starting with my dad’s Rolleicord, evolving over the years through various Minolta, Nikon and Pentax film cameras, transitioning into Leica and now Sony digital cameras. I’m formally trained in fine art and journalism photography and lithographic and serigraphic fine art printmaking. I have exhibited at galleries and have won competitions in the USA, France and Japan.
